Returning Users

Hello.
To get straight to the point, returning users will find themselves unable to login right now. I believe this is due to the update process from 3.3.1 to 3.3.10 rather than the move from dndgamer.nl specifically.

Simply put, in order to login, you will need to click the forgotten password link to get a reset email and set yourself up a new password.
HOWEVER, at the moment (14.5.23) I am yet to get password emails sent out automatically. We're working on it and I will update this post once that functionality is restored.

Update.
Emails should now be working. If you cannot login, request a password reset and check your junk folder for an email from [email protected]

I still need to install the black theme and the dice roller which will have to wait until monday now.

Black theme installed.
Dice roller will follow. In order to get the installation and patch files for it I need an account with phpbb studio which has to be manually verified, so it's mainly a matter of waiting on that for now. Will give you a yell when it's up and running.

Dice roller is up. Currently just shows numbers, haven't quite figured out how to make it show dice faces yet.

Yay, I finally got my account sorted...and I already have a small litany of issues.

Avatar appears to be broken (I tried uploading another image but it failed. I'll experiment when I have more time)
Loading web pages is extremely slow (not sure if a caching issue).
Black theme is lost when I log in.
I did a password reset but no email arrived (I did the usual stuff and I did note your comments Charon, but managed to login with my old password).

Did the email go to junk cos that's what happened on my end. Guessing Grodech got his email too cos he turned up.

All avatars will need reuploading as those files didn't carry over. There are size limitations on the avatars so if you need those increasing let me know. It may be that the defaults are lower than we had previously?

Black theme lost on login? Hmm, defaults should be set to proflat dark side on both guest and logged accounts? I'll have to see if there's a setting that lets you override that with user preferences.

EDIT: Dice images fixed.
Checked style settings, board is set to not override an individual user's setting.

Ah I see. Ok, ok. Gonna set default board setting to proflat black. If you wish to override the board's default style, you can do so in your user control panel under board preferences.
That just leaves your avatar. Current settings are max 120x120 and a 51kb filesize. We can bump that up but there comes a point where you risk timing out on a large file.
As for board performance (page loading). Seems ok on my end. Loads very quickly. Grodech might notice longer loads being across the pond but you should be fine being here in Blighty.

Reset my password with no issues. Uploaded my avater no problem. I have no speed issues.

You may want to see if there's a way to replace the "proflat" logo with the DNDGamer logo.
