Gimble expressed his disappointment in how few Duergar there are in the database. So let's make some gray dwarves.

And get your creative head on. Make a Duergar of any level, any class. Multiclass if you want, take a PRC, add a template, go wild. Just make sure you provide them with some suitable gear and a decent bio. NPC wealth by level values can be found on page 127 of the DMG.
Remember, Duergar have a +1 LA, so their CR will be one higher than their class levels.
